Lisa Horowitz has served as Executive Director of Temple De Hirsch Sinai since January 2014. Previously, she served as Chief Executive Officer of the Schnitzer Family Campus in Portland, Oregon, comprising the Mittleman Jewish Community Center and Portland Jewish Academy.

Lisa came to world of nonprofit management after having practiced law in Washington, D.C. and Oregon, where she served on the boards of several nonprofits. She received her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.A. from the University of Massachusetts. She lives in Seattle with her husband, Lewis Horowitz. They have three daughters; two live in Massachusetts and one in Seattle.
